An integrated power and control system for engagement with a single pressurized hydraulic control line. Hydraulic fluid pressure is provided to a hydraulic divertor or switch which selectively distributes hydraulic pressure to a moveable actuator. In a first position of the hydraulic switch, fluid pressure is provided against a first surface of the actuator. When the hydraulic switch is moved to a second position, fluid pressure is provided against a second surface of the actuator. The hydraulic switch can be moved between the first and second positions by controlling the differential hydraulic fluid pressure between the control line and the well or by controlling fluctuations in the hydraulic fluid pressure. The hydraulic switch can divert hydraulic fluid pressure to multiple tools and to additional hydraulic switches within the well. |
