摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reformed calcium oxide having the same physical properties as a hard-fired quicklime from a soft-fired quicklime with small damage of the furnace wall of a kiln without using a large quantity of fuel is comparison to the production of the hard-fired quicklime and a calcium oxide reformed material having the same physical properties as a super hard-fired quicklime from the hard-fired quicklime with small damage of the furnace wall of the kiln without using a large quantity of fuel to be used in comparison to the production of the super hard fired quicklime. SOLUTION: The powdery calcium oxide reformed material having a uniform coating film, which consists essentially of calcium carbonate and is formed on the surface and the inside of pores of a powder composed of the soft fired quicklime of the hard-fired quicklime, is obtained by pulverizing a massive material composed of the soft-fired quicklime or the hard-fired quicklime while supplying steam and carbon oxide gas. Not only the calcium carbonate film but a calcium sulfate film can be formed by supplying a gas containing a sulfur matter with steam and carbon oxide gas. The thickness of the film is 10-500nm.</p>
