<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately predict flatness after air-cooling even when it is measured under warm temp. SOLUTION: In this device, the surface temp. profile of a thick steel plate 8 to be rolled on a hot rolling line is measured by surface temp. measuring means 1 and the flatness is measured by flatness measuring means 2. Thermal strain which is generated after air-cooling the thick steel plate 8 is calculated based on this measured surface temp. profile by thermal strain calculating means 5, the strain of the thick steel plate 8 is calculated based on the measured flatness by strain calculating means 6 and the measured flatness is correcting calculated based on the these thermal strain and strain by out-of-plane deformation calculating means 7 and the out-of-plane deformation of the thick steel plate after air-cooling is estimated.</p> |
