PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire capable of improving noise performance and steering stability without substantially lowering a wet performance and uneven wear resistance. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic radial tire on at least shoulder part of which multiple blocks 6a are formed dividedly, a sub groove 3 is faced from a tire equator side to both shoulder sides so as to form a tread pattern with a polarity that the tire is inclined to the tire counterclockwise side, the groove 3 is further bent counterclockwise on a tire in the area of 10% of a contact width W on each of both shoulder sides, the inclined angle a measured counterclockwise on the tire relative to the tire peripheral direction of the bent part 3a is set in the range of 0 to 50 deg., the groove width (b) is set in the range of 0.3 to 1.0mm, and the length (e) is set in the range of 8 to 40mm. |
