In the inequalities, D is the inner diameter of the immersion tube (mm), (h) is the dipping depth of the immersion tube (mm), L is the horizontal distance between the fixed weirs (mm) and H is the height from the bottom wall of the tundish to the top surface of the fixed weir (mm).
