PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a mammal embryo whose cells are afflicted with little damage so that it keeps high survivability, for use in embryo transplantation, experiments, etc., by simply melting a straw which is preserved in liquid nitrogen through the dipping of the same in hot water for a very short time. SOLUTION: This in-straw dilution type mammal embryo vitrification preserving straw has a vitrification preserving liquid layer having a mammal embryo therein and a diluent layer, which are arranged adjacent to each other inside the straw, and air layers are placed at both ends. A PB 1 liquid (EFS 40) to which 40% ethylene glycol, 18% Ficoll, and 0.3 M sucrose are added is desirable as the vitrification preserving liquid. |
