PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method enabling to safely and inexpensively treat a liquid organic halaogenide under a relatively low temp. condition enabling to use an inexpensive equipment. SOLUTION: The liquid organic halide is mixed with a solidification treating agent consisting of slug powder and dust incorporating at least active alumina, quick lime, magnesium oxide and manganese oxide, silicate, water soluble high polymer, metallic salt of organic acid and calcium carbonate, and water to produce a solidification treated product, and powder of clay mineral consisting essentially of montmorillonite and/or vermiculite is mixed with the solidification treated product, and is heated under a >=120-<=350 deg.C temp. condition. |
