THERMOPLASTIC RESIN SHEET AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely obtain good transparency and lubricity in a thermoplastic resin sheet and the production of the sheet. SOLUTION: When a thermoplastic resin is pressed between a third cooling roll 16 and an endless belt 15 both which are subjected to mirror surface finish, particles 33 are bonded to the mirror surface of the endless belt 15 and these particles and the mirror surface are transferred to the thermoplastic resin. Therefore, the respective mirror surfaces of the third cooling roll 16 and the endless belt 15 are transferred to a resin sheet to make it possible to impart good transparency to the resin sheet. Since the particles 33 are embedded in one surface of the resin sheet 11 in a partially exposed and hardly removed state, by bringing the respective particles 33 and other matter to a point contact state, good lubricity can be also imparted to the resin sheet 11.
