PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid detergent composition which is improved with respect to detergency for a oil stain, solubility, strength, shape stability during transportation and economics, by compounding a specific nonionic surfactant, an amorphous aluminosilicate and an anionic surfactant. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 1 to 15wt.% of a nonionic surfactant having a flowing temperature of 40 deg.C or lower and the HLB of 8 to 15, (B) 1 to 30wt.% of an amorphous aluminosilicate which is prepared by reacting an alkali metal aluminate having a mole ratio of M2 O, wherein M is an alkali metal, to Al2 O3 , M2 O/Al2 O3 , of 1.0 to 1.6 with an alkali metal silicate having a mole ratio of SiO2 to M2 O, SiO2 /M2 O, of 1.0 to 4.0, and in which a pore volume of the pores having a diameter of 0.1μm or less and that of the pores having a diameter of 0.1 to 2.0μm correspond 20% or less and 50% or more of the total pore volume, respectively, and which has an oil absorption of 100ml/100g or more and a water content of 5 to 20wt.%, and (C) 5 to 50wt.% anionic surfactant. This solid detergent composition has a hardness of 10 to 70kgf/cm<2> and exhibits, in application of a load of 5kgf/cm<2> , a ratio the stress after 1sec to the initial stress of 85.0 to 99.3%.
