<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the damages by an earthquake on an underground buried piping network including not only trunk conduits but also the feed pipes which are separated from the trunk conduits but also the supply pipe to be connected to a building. SOLUTION: Damages by an earthquake on a main pipe 1 which is a trunk of an underground buried piping network and a branch pipe 5 are estimated based on the correlation between the maximum speed during the earthquake and the damage ratio to be obtained based on the earthquake data in the past in advance. The number of damages of supply pipes 10, 11 to be branched from the branch pipe 5 and connected to buildings 8, 9 is estimated as the sum of the number of damages on the main pipe 1 and the branch pipe 5 and the number of damages of the number of collapsed buildings 8, 9 multiplied by the prescribed ratio. Damages are estimated not only on the main pipe 1 and the branch pipe 5, but also on the supply pipes 10, 11, and the damages can be effectively estimated with excellent accuracy.</p> |
