<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve corrosion resistance by providing a metal film layer having a small contact potential difference with aluminum on the contact face of a SUS member with an aluminum member at a specific METSUKE quantity. SOLUTION: This aluminum balustrade is constituted of stainless steel anchor bolts 1, nuts 1a, base posts 2, bolts/nuts 3, aluminum metal balustrade stanchions 4, a handrail section 5, L-shaped metals 8, horizontal bars 6, and ballasters 7. The stanchion 4 is fixed to the connection section 2b of the post 2 by bolts/ nuts 3, and corrosion-proof film layers are provided on the contact faces of the post 2 and bolts/nuts 3 at least kept in contact with the stanchion 4. The corrosion-proof film layer is made of an aluminum metal such as aluminum, an aluminum alloy, zinc, a mixture of these metals, or a silicone mixture or a metal having a small contact potential difference with the aluminum metal, and its METSUKE quantity is set to 100-800g/m<2> . The corrosion resistance is improved, and the aluminum balustrade can be used free of maintenance over a long period.</p> |
