PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat transfer sheet capable of readily carrying out deep coloring, painting, patterning, coloring, etc., in large area or fixing various functional particles without impairing softness, touch feeling, air permeability of fiber products and a resin composition used for transfer layer of the heat transfer sheet and provide a heat transfer method using the heat transfer sheet. SOLUTION: This resin composition for heat transfer comprises (A) a water- soluble polymer 4, (B) a water-insoluble plastic resin particles dispersed in the water-soluble polymer and (C) at least one kind of material selected from a group comprising a coloring agent and functional particles. This heat transfer sheet is obtained by forming a transfer layer composed of the resin composition onto a substrate sheet. This method for carrying out heat transfer comprises bringing a transfer layer 3 of the heat transfer sheet 1 into contact with the material to be transferred, pressing the material to be transferred from the substrate sheet 2 under heating, releasing the substrate sheet 2 and then, washing the sheet with water. |
