PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction by applying a cap member formed of resilient body having waterproof function in a switch mechanism, thereby preventing a leaked ink from intruding into the contact part of the switch mechanism. SOLUTION: A loading detection switch 8 comprises four switches 81 for delivering an ON signal to a control circuit when individual ink cartridges 14a-14d are loaded and a movable contact part is depressed, and a switch cover (cap member) covering them. The switch cover is composed of silicon rubber having waterproof function and the switches 81 are covered with a cap part 82a. Consequently, an ink leaked through an ink supply port can be prevented from intruding between contacts of the switch 81 at the time of replacing the ink cartridge thus preventing malfunction. |
