PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject dye mixture capable of dyeing N-containing or hydroxy-containing fibrous materials through dip dyeing or printing by mixing at least two kinds of azo dyes. SOLUTION: This dye mixture comprises at least one kind of dye of formula I (A1 and A2 are each a benzene- or naphthalenene-based or heterocyclic coupling component group; (n) and (m) are each 0 or 1), together with at least one kind of dye of formula II or III. It is recommended that these dyes are obtained by subjecting a compound of formula IV to diazotization, coupling the resulting product with a compound of formula V, subjecting the resulting compound of formula VI to diazotization, followed by coupling the product with respective compounds of formula A1 -H and formula A2 -H. Thus, the objective dye mixture suitable for dyeing esp. celluosic fibrous materials, having good fastness characteristics and stabe at high temperatures can be afforded.
