POLYOXYMETHYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition excellent in heat stability by mixing a polyoxymethylene resin with a calcium phosphate or a metal supported by a carrier being a calcium phosphate. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a polyoxymethylene resin (A) and at least one member (B) selected from a calcium phosphate and a metal supported by a calcium phosphate. Desirably the calcium phosphate of component B comprises calcium tertiary phosphate and/or hydroxyapatite, and the supported metal is silver, zinc or copper. Desirably component B is used in an amount of 0.01-30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. polyoxymethylene resin and component B has a mean particle diameter in the range of 0.01-50μm.
