PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make irregularity inconspicuous even with unevenness of the lower faces of an eave soffit so as to improve appearance by providing an inward recessed stepped part at a bent part between a front face and a ceiling part of an eave soffit edging member. SOLUTION: An eave soffit edging member 5 provided between an eave soffit and a siding member 4 mounted on the exterior wall surface is composed of a back face part 5a mounted on the back face of the siding member 4, a ceiling part 5b bent frontward from the upper end of the back face part 5a, and a front face part 5c bent downward from the front end part of the ceiling part 5b. A stepped part 5d recessed inside is provided at a bent part between the ceiling part 5b and the front face part 5c. In case of looking at the eave soffit from below, a bending point A of an upper step side angular part of the stepped part 5d is invisible being hidden by a bending point B of the lower step side front end. Even though eave soffit lower faces P, Q have unevenness, irregularity caused by unevenness is therefore inconspicuous so as to improve appearance. |
