PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the rigidity of the whole body of core bars, to allow the easy arrangement of an air bag device without bringing a disadvantage in the space, and to realize the smooth expansion of the air bag, in a steering wheel in which a pad part is formed integrally with a covering body. SOLUTION: A spoke corebar is connected by a connecting part 11 at its lower side, and to the housing recess 9 between a pad part 3 formed integrally with a covering body, an air bag device 13 and the like inserted from an opening are provided. Neighboring spoke part core bars are connected each other connected by core bars 10A, 10D, and the like, and the bag holder 16 of the air bag device 13 is fixed the boss 10a for screw of the connecting core bar 10A by a screw 18 While the connecting core bars 10A and 10D are formed in a plane and almost in a linear form, the boss 10a for screw is provided at the outer side of the connecting core bar 10A. When the air bag is expanded, the boss 10 for screw causes no disturbance. |
