PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breathable film which possesses excellent tensile strength, appearance, feeling, and tear strength. SOLUTION: A resin compsn. comprising: (a) 20 to 80wt.% linear ethylene copolymer comprising ethylene and 1 to 20wt.% comonomer of a 6 C or higherα-olefin or diolefin; and, incorporated into the component (a), (b) 80 to 20wt.% inorg. filler and (c) a 9-40 C satd. or unsatd. fatty ester in an amt. of 0.1 to 15 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. in total of the components (a) and (b), is formed into a film. The film is stretched by 1.2 to 6.0 times. This breathable film has a tear strength MD of not less than 10g as measured according to ASTM D 1922-61T, a tensile strength (TD breaking point) of not less than 700g/15mm- width as measured according to ASTM D882-67, and a moisture permeability of not less than 5,100g/m<2> -24hr as measured according to JIS Z 0208-1973. |
