PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the differential case structure for differential gear, of which differential case main body and of which differential cap can be easily worked and in which the number of part items is reduced and which has excellent assembling property. SOLUTION: This structure is formed of a differential case main body 2 built-in with gear mechanism and a differential cap 10 for covering an opening of the differential case main body 2. In this case, a peripheral edge 11 of the differential cap 10 is formed with plural grooves 15, and an opening of the differential case main body 2 is provided with a cylindrical opening end 5, and the differential cap 10 is fitted into the opening end 5 of the differential case main body 2, and the opening end 5 is curved along the peripheral edge 11 of the differential cap 10 so as to contract the opening, and bite into the plural grooves 15 of the peripheral edge 11 of the differential cap 10, and caulked for fastening.
