PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reliable engagement of a coupling only by axially pressing the coupling even when couplings on the drive side and the driven side are situated in any relative position. SOLUTION: A drive force transmission device comprises a coupling 2 on the driven side coupled with a rotary shaft 1 on the driven side and having a fitting tooth 3 on the driven side formed on the fitting side; a coupling 4 on the drive side rotatably mounted on a rotary shaft 7 on the drive side and having an fitting tooth 5 on the driven side formed on the fitting side; an oblong hole 8 formed in a rotary shaft 1 on the drive side; and a pin 9 slidably engaged with the oblong hole 8 formed in a rotary shaft 7 on the drive side. The oblong 8 is formed in a manner to incline in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 7 on the drive side and a compression spring 11 to elastically energize the coupling 4 on the drive side in the direction of the coupling 2 on the driven side. |
