摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a catalyst for purifying exhaust gas in which degradability of NOx is increased by crystallizing amorphous alloys in particular through heating treatment and using crystallized alloys in relation to the method for preparing the NOx purification catalyst. SOLUTION: A method for producing a catalyst for purifying exhaust gas, which is mixed with carrier oxides and used, consists of a process for producing amorphous alloys, a process for mixing at least one kind selected from a group of alumina, zirconia, titania and ceria as metallic oxide with the above- mentioned amorphous alloys and grinding the mixture and a process for crystallizing the amorphous alloys by heat treatment. The above-mentioned amorphous alloys consist of 50-70atom% Ni, 30 to below 50atom% in total of at least one kind of Zr and Ti and 0.5-10atom% in total of at least one kind of Pd and Pt.
