A screw-type dosage unit includes a frame (1) that supports a hopper (2) where the product to be dosed is introduced; an extractor (3) driven by a gear motor (4); and a stirrer (5) suspended in the hopper above the extractor driven by an actuator and produces vibrations which allow separation of the product from the walls of the hopper for the descent of the product toward the extractor. The screw-type dosage unit for producing doses of solid or powdered products comprises: (a) a frame; (b) a hopper supported on the frame for receiving the product to be dosed which includes two walls, first and second; (c) an extractor for removing controlled amounts of the product from the hopper; and (d) a stirrer suspended inside the hopper above the extractor for generating vibrations to induce separation of the product adhering to the walls permitting descent of product toward the extractor, the stirrer includes (i) two mutually parallel rod members (15) each on a different longitudinal axis, the first and the second are parallel to and adjacent to the first wall and second wall respectively, (ii) a symmetrical tubular structure which is complementary to an internal shape of the hopper has two arms, the first and the second; the first and the second rod members are mounted on the first and second arm of the tubular structure respectively where both rod members extend parallel to the longitudinal axis of the extractor; and the stirrer is suspended in the hopper so that the first and second arms are parallel to the first and second walls respectively.
