PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembly of a switch device, and to reduce the manufacturing cost, by improving the operability of the switch device provided on an air bag device, so as to develop a cover body smoothly, when the air bag is inflated. SOLUTION: A folded air bag 14 is covered by a cover body 21 made of a synthetic resin. A switch device 18 positioning between the cover body 21 and the air bag 14, and furnishing a membrane switch 16 and a back plate 17, is provided. The membrane switch 16 is fixed to the back plate 17 at a point at the center. The back plate 17 is installed on a base plate 11 at its extension 17b, and it is developed indevendently from the cover body 21, in the expanding and developing time of the air bag 14. |
