PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply machine a transparent plate by forming an inverted V-shaped groove on the lower face of the transparent plate, and feeding the light beam of a light emitting element surrounded by a light beam guide tube to its outside inclined face. SOLUTION: This self-luminescent type road rivet is constituted of a main body casing 1, a transparent plate 2, a solar battery 3, a storage battery 4, a light emitting element 5, and a controller 6 controlling blinking. A linear inverted V-shaped groove 23 is formed on the back face of the transparent plate 2, the outside inclined face of the groove 23 is used as the incidence face of the element 5, and the element 5 is surrounded by a light beam guide tube to improve the luminous effect. The approach of a headlight is sensed by a photo-sensor and differentiated by the approach judging circuit of a micro-computer as desired. If the result is a plus value, a light emitting element drive circuit is operated via a pulse transmitting circuit, and the number of luminescing/blinking times and light quantity of the element 5 are increased to give a warning to a vehicle driver or a walker approaching an intersection. The light quantity can be secured, the machining of the transparent plate 2 requiring strict machining is simplified to the minimum, and the cost can be reduced. |
