摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a separator which is based on a microfiltration film and has characteristics suitable for the use in secondary batteries or capacitors by modifying the surface of a separator made from an org. material by using a surface modification method wherein a solvent contg. an electrolytic soln. and an org. reactive compd. dissolvable in an electrolysis soln. are used. SOLUTION: This separator is based on a common microfiltration film, and propylene carbonate is used as the polymn. solvent in modifying the surface of the film by interfacial polmn. or plasma polymn. in order to impart characteristics suitable as a separator to the film. A polyolefin film, a stretched fluororesin film, etc., usually called a microfiltration film and having a pore size of 0.05-100μm and a thickness of 20-150μm are suitable as the substrate of the separator. An example of the diamine component used in the interfacial polymn. is hexamethylenediamine, which has a flexible molecular structure, and that of the acid chloride component is at least adipoyl chloride.
