PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject product, capable of preventing sedimentation of titanium oxide, to which lubricating property is imparted by compounding titanium oxide with oleic acid as a lubricating agent. SOLUTION: This oily ink composition consists essentially of titanium oxide and oleic acid. An amount of oleic acid added is preferably 1-40wt.% based on ink composition. The product contains normally a dispersing agent, a water- soluble resin or an aqueous emulsion, a viscosity modifier, water, etc., as other components. An organic surfactant or a silicone-based surfactant may be used in order to control fluidity of ink. Pigment-class titanium oxide can be used without depending to whether it is anatase type or rutile type. Furthermore, the ball point pen using the objective product exhibits excellent writing property and durability. |
