PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the recording performance from deteriorating during preservation of an ink jet recording head in a preserving container by sealing the ink jet recording head hermetically and sustaining humidity in the hermetically sealed container. SOLUTION: An ink jet recording head is provided with containing spaces into which moisture absorbers 30, 31 are inserted and then a specified quantity of distilled water or clear ink is injected by means of a syringe 140, or the like. Preferably, 0.3-0.5g of water is injected. A processed head is coupled integrally with a tank holder and applied with a protective cap before being contained in an aluminum pillow bag and thermally sealed hermetically. Consequently, humidity is prevented from lowering in the hermetically sealed container and ink is prevented from being hardened in the vicinity of an ink jet port to block ink jet. |
