PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake/exhaust valve driving control device for an internal combustion engine which can prevent partial abrasion of surfaces of engagement grooves by repeating movement of pins for transmitting torque while always sliding in the engagement grooves. SOLUTION: A driving shaft 21 is rotatated synchronously to the rotation of an engine. A cam shaft 22 is arranged coaxially with the driving shaft 21. A flange 27 formed with an engagement groove 30 is arranged on an end of the cam shaft 22, while a flange 32 formed with an engagement groove 33 is arranged on the side of the driving shaft. Pins 36, 37 are projected from a circular disc 29 between the flanges 27 and 32 in opposite directions, and engaged with the engagement grooves on the flanges. The circular disc 29 are supported rotatably and oscillatably along a shaft perpendicular direction, and is oscillated according to an operation condition of the engine. The pins for transmitting torque are moved in the engagement groove while being slid by preventing a center orbit at the time of oscillating the circular disc from coinciding with the center of the driving shaft. Partial abrasion of the surfaces of the engagement grooves is thus prevented.
|
