摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need for an auxiliary air tank, to perform reliable operation, to completely close a lower air chamber when a stroke of an air spring exceeds a specified amount by a piston guided and supported by a rod, and to increase a spring constant. SOLUTION: An air spring for a vehicle is formed such that the end parts of a bellows 2 are coupled to the lower end part of an inverted cup type outer cylinder 7 and an upper end part of a cup type inner cylinder 15, and a piston 10 fitted in the internal part of the inner cylinder 15 is coupled to the lower end of a rod 8, coupled to the upper end wall of the outer cylinder 15 by a pin 5, by means of a pin 8. Further, a number of axial protrusions 13 are formed at intervals in a peripheral direction on the inner peripheral surface of the upper part of the inner cylinder 15, and an annular elastic seal 14 is supported below the protrusion 13. In this case, when an air spring body contracts and the inner cylinder 15 is fitted externally of a piston 10, the protrusion 13 of the inner cylinder 15 and the elastic seal 14 are brought into contact, in the order, with the outer peripheral surface of the piston 10.
