PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering device for an ink jet printer easily controlled by forward rotating one cam member and operating a suction cap, a suction pump and a wiper member. SOLUTION: A cam member 43 is forward rotated by a sheet feed motor, and a suction cap 41, suction pump 43 and wiper member 32 related to the member 43 are operated at a predetermined timing. When a recovery area of a recording head 5 is detected, the motor is interlocked to the member 3 by an interlocking means to set the member 43 to a forward rotatable state. |
