In a magnetic store in which drive lines 9, 12, 13, 14 for cores 26 are each coupled between different terminals in groups 1-4 and 5-8 of a transistor-switched selection matrix, each drive line is connected at its opposite ends through a series rectifier 10 and to ground through a resistor 27-30, the arrangement in association with a negative bias potential 31 causing the rectifiers associated with unselected lines to be blocked and the stray line capacitance charged when a given line is selected by simultaneously energizing a transistor 18, 19 connected to a single terminal of each of the groups, a ¢-write current pulse from a source 24 being applied to the selected drive line subsequent to selection. A like arrangement of generally opposite polarity and involving terminals 1<SP>1</SP>-4<SP>1</SP> and 5-8 together with rectifiers 11, transistors 20, 21 and a positive bias source 32 is used to apply a ¢-read current pulse from a source 25 to a selected drive line.</p> |
