A pipeliner (1) suitable for use in renovating pipelines (2) comprising a fabric tube (3) with a barrier layer (4) secured to it characterised in that the barrier layer (4) is secured to the fabric tube (3) such that under differential tension at a region of the pipeliner (1) the fabric tube (3) and barrier layer (4) become disengaged to allow relatively free relative movement between the barrier layers (4) and the fabric tube (3) in that region the remaining areas of adhesion between the barrier layer (4) and tube (3) securing the layer (4) and tube (3) together elsewhere. Preferably, the barrier layer is secured to the fabric layer with an adhesive strength no greater than 5 Newton metres. |
