PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent printability on rough paper and dot-reproducing properties by constituting a main binder forming an ink layer with thermoplastic resin and resin not showing thermoplasticity. SOLUTION: Thermoplastic resin and UV ray-curable resin are employed as the main binder of an ink layer 3, and the ink layer 3 is cured and ink layer 3 is formed by irradiating UV ray. When ink ribbon is heated by a thermal head, in a boundary area heated thereby, the ink layer 3 is cut along particles of the binder so that the ink layer 3 in the heated area portion is transferred to recording paper. Since particles of each resin forming the binder can be dispersed extremely fine and uniformly, the ink layer 3 can be cut extremely sharply in a boundary portion of the heated area in the ink layer, thus printing with an excellent reproducing property in its edges can be obtained. |
