PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition exhibiting remarkably high fungicidal effect against a strain resistant to dicarboxyimide agent, to say nothing of a sensitive strain, owing to the remarkable synergistic effect of the components by combining iprodione with iminoctadine and its salt. CONSTITUTION:The objective fungicidal composition for agricultural and horticultural use contains iprodione [3-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-N-isopropyl-2,4- dioximidazolidine-1-carboxamide] and iminoctadine [1,1'-iminiodi(octamethylene) diguanidine] and its salt (especially preferably straight-chain alkylbenzenesulfonic acid salt). The composition is suitable for controlling gray mold and a strain resistant to dicarboxyimide or benzimidazole agent (especially a pathogen of gray mold). Various kinds of blights can be controlled at a time by the synergistic effect of the active components to enable the saving of labor and reduction of the treatment cost. |
