PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide an extruder and a haul-off unit to a desired haul-off speed and target outer diameter in a short time at the time of accelerating or decelerating an extrusion line by calculating a speed ratio of actual haul-off speed data to temporary extrusion speed, calculating an extrusion speed to new haul- off speed, and extruding it at this speed. SOLUTION: A controller CPU calls a work outer diameter D, actual extrusion speed data Ve, actual haul-off speed data Vt from an outer diameter detector 4, extrusion speed detector 12, haul-off speed detector 22 at each sampling period, and obtains temporary extrusion speed Vec from an outer deviation from the measured work outer diameter D and target outer diameter Do. It simultaneously calculates a speed ratio R (R = extrusion speed Vec/actual haul-off speed data Vt) of the data Vt to the speed Vec. It calculates new extrusion speed Ve' to new haul-off speed Vt' at the time of next sampling from the ratio R, and drives an extruder 2 at the new speed Ve'. |
