Neighboring blades form channels to let slurry flow when wheel rotates. Width of each channel measured along line perpendicular to meridional laminar flow of slurry is made gradually narrowing towards wheel periphery. Dimensions of wheel relative to spiral housing are chosen from the following expressions: where b1 is width of channel measured at inlet; b2 is width of channel at wheel periphery; D2 is wheel diameter; b3 is width of spiral housing.
