FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic damper consists of outer and inner cylinders with compensating chamber in between, bottom with suction valve and cover with lubricating space. Inner cylinder is divided into two spaces by piston with rod provided with inner and outer sealing arrangements. Outer sealing arrangement consists of seal, herringbone cups, support and pressure rings and springs. Middle herringbone cup is made of frost-resistant material. Seal and inner herringbone cup are made of heat-resistant material, with top and space of crossing of conical surfacer of support and pressure rings being displaced relative to corresponding spaces and tops of herringbone cups towards rod axis. Suction valve spring can be made of two flat resilient parts integral with ring part. Lubricating space of cover can be divided by filtering screen into two parts in one of which rod with sealing arrangements and device for setting required resistance are installed, and second part is placed in communication with compensating chamber. EFFECT: enlarged temperature operating conditions, reduced length, enhanced serviceability when operating on contaminated working liquid, provision of convenient adjustment of hydraulic damper. 3 cl, 4 dwgd
