The packaging for a vehicle windscreen comprises a cardboard or plastic blank (10) having transverse and parallel folding lines (11,12) which form between them a reception bottom (13) for the windscreen. There is a foam gutter in the bottom for supporting the windscreen. On each side of the folding lines are two walls (14,15) which can be folded down on each other to fit the ends of the windscreen. The walls are provided with adjustable tongues (25,26) for locking the windscreen between the walls, openings (32) and tabs (33) for locking the walls and a handle (30,31). The packaging is simple to use and occupies a small space and guarantees protection for the transportation of windscreens.
