The subject of this invention is the method of starting and operation of diesel engines fed with slow-burning fuel, applied especially for plant and mineral fuels with a high level of salt and other admixture pollution. The method in accordance with this invention consists in the fact that fuel supplied to the combustion chamber is heated up in pipes delivering it to the engine and additionally heated up by a glow facility which is situated in the combustion chamber until the fuel is precisely sprayed to the form where mixture contains fuel in a gaseous state and air and, at the same time, the oil that is found in the engine circulating lubrication system is subjected to filtration to the level of at least 1 mu m, or better. |
