The apparatus is intended for application in metallurgy and lime production, and mainly for furnaces, providing a uniform shaft-symmetrical charge distribution. The apparatus consists of vertically driven bell (1), located in the clearance of the furnace hopper (2) and a truncated bell (3) beneath, located in the furnace maw (4) and fixed steadily to it. The section of its upper base is larger than the section of the bell's (1) base. An upper cylinder (5) is fixed on the inner side of the truncated bell (3), and a lower cylinder (6) is fixed to the furnace maw (4) beneath the upper cylinder, being the diameter of the upper cylinder (5) shorter than the diameter of the lower cylinder (6), having each cylinder (5, 6) radially and evenly located in its inner side, in a uniform or step-like in height order inclined deflector plates (7) of rectangular, trapezium or step-like shape, wherein the trapezium shaped and the step-like deflector plates (7) are mounted with their wide part downwards. |
