Wooden horizontal frame containing opening window

The horizontal frame for a building facade comprises top (2) and bottom (1) rails. Fixed frames (3) applied on the internal face of the rail flanges located on the internal side of the faade delimit opening bays. Movable frames (4) which cover these bays are opened consecutively by projecting outwards and then translating laterally. The flange of the U section rails located inside the faade is higher than the height of the fixed frames. This enables the housing and free translation in the longitudinal direction of the faade of lower and upper springers, the height of which is inscribed in the height of the channel constituted by the rails' U section. The frame takes advantage of the size of modern architectural designs to house opening windows integral with the covered bays.
