The block can be broken into two sections (3, 4) and has a divisible joint between the two sections. It is made of transverse walls (6) in joint area (5) running in the direction of the break and a rigid plate (7) at right angles to the walls (6) and running from one of the outer edges of the construction block. The transverse walls (6) are regularly spaced and parallel to each other and at least the first two transverse walls are joined by the rigid plate which is hit to separate the block into two sections. The transverse walls have thinner sections (8) where they join the sections of the block or the rigid plate.
