The assembly tool consists of a portico (2), which consists of a horizontal crossbar (3), carried by the uprights (4). The portico structure is supported and held in position by rolling brackets (5), which are fixed in contact with the ground. The horizontal beam carries at least one jack (6), which is fitted at its lowest extremity with a shoe (7). A support surface (8) is fixed under each jacking node to carry the pieces of wood to be assembled and to act as an anvil block for the pressure from the jack. The foot of each of the support uprights (4), is provided with the means (9), which, in association with the base support (10), which has an I-shaped cross section, forms a fixing anchorage to secure the portico to the ground.
