The holder (1) is formed as a plug-on sleeve (4). It has an internal shape corresponding to the outer shape of a guide post (3), and is pushed onto the top end of the post. The holder has a horizontal stop web (5) to fix the height of the sleeve relative to the post. A holder sleeve (6) corresponding to the profile of a post (7) for a road sign (2), is fastened to the plug-on sleeve. The holder sleeve has esp. a wing nut to fix the sign post. Holder and warning sign are pushed onto the top end of a guide post. USE/ADVANTAGE - Holder enables simple and quick erection of traffic signs without reducing width of road.
