Variable tread depth vehicular tyre having two main annular compartments in radial succession

A vehicular tyre has variable tread depth. It has adjacent blocks on a casing (1). The radial height of some or all of these tread blocks may be varied w.r.t. the casing. Preferably, the casing includes two annular air tubes in radial succession. That next to the tread preferably has a net-like or sealed perforated construction, and contains a suitable internal air pressure. The internal tube (2) preferably operates at constant air pressure. These tubes are preferably separated by a ring belt (3), to which the block studs are fastened. These can preferably be varied in their radial height. The block studs preferably extend outwardly, through the closed-wall penetrations of the net tube.
