Measuring system for level position of liquid in tank especially fuel tank for IC engines

The measuring system has a liquid container with at least two chambers, for the separate determination of the filling level. The liquid container is preferably formed in a saddle tank for motor vehicles. At least two filling level meters (21,22) are provided, which each have a measuring value transmitter (23,23'), a measurement value pick-up and an indicating unit. The units of the filling level meter are housed in a common casing (18), which is fixed to the container. Each measuring value transmitter is fixed to a float lever (25,25') that is swivelable in the casing. The end of the float lever that is furthest from the bearing carries a float body (26,26') positioned in the liquid storage part of a container compartment.
