Evaporation apparatus for liquids especially from flue gas purification installations

An assembly for evaporation of liquids especially in association with a flue gas purification installation is claimed. The evaporation takes place in one-trip containers (3) filled through feedlines (6). The containers are located in chambers (2) arranged in a heat exchanger (1) channel, through which hot flue gas or other heat carrier flows, to give the highest possible surface contact between the chambers and the exchanger. The containers after appropriate filling and drying are easily removable from the assembly. Preferably the drying chambers (2) can be opened or shut by flaps (4) to insert or remove containers (3). Preferably the heat exchanger is so constructed that the process can be conducted at enhanced or reduced pressure. The spaces between the chambers and containers are filled with a heat-conducting substance.
