The disclosed apparatus for the projection of three-dimensional images into space is intended for use in the information systems field. Said apparatus comprises two lenses, disposed at a predetermined distance from one another and having a specially distributed focal point as well as compensating elements. Each lens may represent an identical cone-shaped lens with specific parameters. The apparatus may resemble two flat, inclined, cylindrical lenses with specific parameters, and one cylindrical lens with a particular focal point, which is disposed perpendicular to the axis of observation. This embodiment of the apparatus enables a magnified image of the subject to be constructed in space or within the depths of the apparatus; it also enables the image to be displaced along the optical axis without modifying the dimensions, or to be observed from a more solid angle. The apparatus may represent one half of the above-mentioned lenses in addition to two flat mirrors, one of which is disposed at a focal length from the lens; the second mirror supports the lens and the first mirror, disposed perpendicular to the second. The apparatus may further comprise an additional mirror situated perpendicular to the two others and to the lens. This embodiment of the invention enables the image to be projected to the space in front of the observer.
