Holding element for use on a laminar glass plate

A process for fixing a holding element to a laminar glass plate with at least one inner (12) and one outer (10) pane, comprises forming a penetration (18,20) in the two panes. The penetration in the outer pane is larger than that in the inner pane. Once the panes are placed together, a holding element (16) is placed against the inner pane, and adhesive is then introduced between the holding element and the inner pane, as well as in the penetration.The adhesive is pref. PVC or PU.
