<p>The invention concerns a method for programming a portable one-way messaging receiver comprising at least a programmable electronic central unit (6) and a chip card reader (11), adapted to set up communication between the central unit and a portable card (10) provided with an integrated circuit (13) with memory. This programming is carried out by loading in a memory (9) of the receiver a general information database and a programme for operating this database, so as to enable the receiver to receive general data by radio relay channel, to store these data in the database, and to restore them according to a user's queries.</p> |
